Sunday Walking Street

Chiang Mai's Sunday Night Walking Street is full of all kinds of treats- from the popular pad Thai and chicken satay to samosas, fried bananas, sweet roti, and fresh fruit shakes—often for less than $2 a piece. After gorging on the delicious food, check out the hundreds of stalls selling an array of unique goods like all-natural soaps, hand-dyed textiles bearing the unique patterns of local hill tribes, incense and essential oils, musical instruments, paintings, wall hangings, and more.

The market gets super crowded every week, no matter what time of the year. So prepare for the crowd accordingly and enjoy the chaos. This is an essential part of the Thailand experience. If you're not around for the Sunday market, or just want to get a taste of other market experiences in Chiang Mai, check out the Saturday Night Walking Street or the Night Bazaar on Chang Klan Road, which is a daily event.

Pai

Everyone knows about Thailand's world-renowned southern beaches but not many know that the vast north is also home to equally breath-taking landscapes and a rugged but beautiful mountainous jungle terrain. The small province of Pai, in Mae Hong Son province, is the perfect place to enjoy the country's natural beauty

Pai has become a favourite among backpackers, and is quite popular among families as well. There is a small walking street market that comes alive every night and an air of cheerfulness as you walk through the tiny town centre. Try the variety of local and Western foods, and visit the nearby Buddhist temples, waterfalls, and the impressive Pai canyon.

Khao Yai National Park

Elephants are one of the most important animals in Thailand, and statues and paintings of them can be seen everywhere you go, including the royal palaces and many temples. Get a chance to see these majestic animals in their natural environment at Khao Yai National Park, among the best national parks in the country.

You can spend days within this park as sometimes a one-day stay isn't enough to take it all in. Camp out at the park and get up early enough to watch the sunrise over the lush landscape. From the moment you step inside the park, you'll feel the cool climates and experience natural wonders. From the panoramic nature views to thrilling hikes and amazing night safaris, there are countless things to do here.

Watch the elephants roaming near rivers, exotic birds of prey, monkeys, and plenty of other tropical creatures that call this park their home. It also features many waterfalls, including the 150-meter-tall Haew Narok and the even more famous Haew Suwat, which appeared in Leonardo DiCaprio's film, The Beach.

Visit Primo Plaza, Khonyok Sheep Farm, and the ChokChai Farm. Make sure to drop by the Khao Yai National Park visitor's center first, which will provide you with maps to help you plan your journey.

Ayutthaya

Ayutthaya, once the most important city in Thailand, offers a magnificent peek into the glory of ancient Thailand. The old palaces, temples, and the haunting ruins of the former capital bear witness to this. It is located only a short bus trip or train ride from Bangkok, making it fitting for a day trip.
Over a hundred wats, chedis, prangs, and thousands of Buddha statues are spread around here. Some unmissable sights include the temple that houses the 12-meter-long reclining Buddha and the tree roots embracing a Buddha head; these are particularly stunning.

Doi Suthep

People say you haven’t truly arrived in Chiang Mai until you’ve been to Doi Suthep Temple. The Mountain was originally called Doi Aoy Chang or Sugar Elephant Mountain, with the summit being high up in the jungle and the first peak housing the famous Doi Suthep Temple.

Perhaps the best-known wat in Chiang Mai, the mountain itself overlooks Thailand's second-largest city. A beloved destination of devout Buddhist followers and travellers from all over the world, Doi Suthep is a spectacle of intricate religious carvings. When you visit the place you will see monks praying, witnessing worship rituals, and a chance to gaze out over the ever-growing sprawl of Chiang Mai city.

Make sure you are carrying a bottle of water and a good pair of walking shoes as you'll have to climb a steep staircase to reach the top of the hill where the temple is. At the base of the stairs, local vendors sell everything from tasty local treats to goods handmade by villagers from the surrounding mountains. You will also find shops selling masks, elephant carvings, and home furnishings, so you can also do some shopping.

Tonsai Beach

With its stunning limestone cliffs hugging sandy coastlines and turquoise waters, Tonsai Beach attracts plenty of climbers all year long. One of the best things about climbing here is that you can just as easily climb solo or find a climbing partner or club once you arrive. You can also take a refresher lesson if you need one.

As the area has many climbing and bouldering schools, the easier routes are often busy, and you might need to queue to get up to the most popular viewpoints. If you're an experienced climber and can get around stalactites, overhangs, and tufa it’ll be easier for you to get the best spots with stunning open views over the bay.

THINGS TO DO

Visit the Grand Palace. Set in the heart of Bangkok, this is probably the most famous attraction here. For 150 years the palace was home to the king, his court, and the entire government of Thailand as well as the Royal Mint.

Have a Thai massage. Thai massages are famous all over the world and the style of massage is unique as it stretches your body as well as working on your body’s pressure points.

Shop in the floating markets of Bangkok. An unmissable experience, these traditionally set up floating markets in boats offer a peek-a-boo into the local way of life. The boats are piled high with all types of shopping items.

Take a selfie with a tiger at the Tiger Temple! Situated in Kanchanaburi the place is a popular tourist attraction where tigers are being raised by the monks. Watch the tigers doing their daily exercises and baby cubs being fed without any caged bars in between.

Watch the Phuket Fantasea show that takes place on the Kamala Beach. The Fantasea show is an amazing experience and depicts an amalgamation of the traditional and modern culture of Thailand.

Wat Arun

Located on the west (Thonburi) bank of the Chao Phraya River, Wat Arun is a landmark temple in Thailand. Locally called Wat Chaeng, it’s one of the most stunning temples in Bangkok as the architectural design is very different from the other temples you can visit in the Thai capital. The 'Temple of Dawn' is made up of colourfully decorated spires and the temple itself stands majestically over the water.

Phi Phi Islands

The Phi Phi Islands are one of Thailand's most popular tourist attractions. The clear blue waters, the soft sand, the stunning views make them among the loveliest islands in Southeast Asia. You can reach Phi Phi Don, which is the largest of the islands and the only one permanently inhabited—on a rented kayak or by hiring a small wooden boat to take you here. Perhaps one of the most fun spots on Koh Phi Phi is Monkey Beach, where you'll come face to face with numerous macaques. Beware! These little creatures are ready to steal your lunch. Long Beach is another nice spot on the island and is great for watching the sunset.

Koh Samui

    This is a sample itinerary. Our Thailand tour plans are customizable to suit your preferences.

    Day 1

    As you reach Thailand, you will be received by our representative who will take you to your hotel in Phuket city. Upon checking in at the hotel, take your time to settle down and take some rest. After a hearty lunch in the hotel, spend the rest of the day at leisure and get over with the travel fatigue. In the evening you can enjoy a Siam Niramit Show at the 1760-seat theatre. Experience the award winning performance that highlights Thailands rich artistic and cultural heritage. Have a sumptuous buffet dinner and head back to the hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.

    Day 2

    After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the pier. From the pier you will be taken to Phi Phi island with a guide throughout. If you are feeling adventurous you may opt for water sports such as snorkelling, swimming, among other activities. Visit Bamboo Island which is blessed with golden sandy beaches and crystal waters. Another famous place that you will be exploring on Phi Phi Island is the Maya Bay. Spend a romantic evening with your special one on the stunning beaches. Later in the evening come back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

    After breakfast at the hotel, the third day of the tour will give you an opportunity to explore the lovely landscape of Phuket.     Day 5

    This will be your final day of an amazing Thailand vacation. Spend the morning touring the city at leisure. You will begin with Wat Traimit which was established around 700 years ago and is known for its 3 meters tall golden Buddha image. Next up is the Wat Benham, also known as the marble temple. After exploring these temples, you can also do some last-minute souvenir shopping. When you are done, our agent will transfer you to the airport to catch a flight back home.
